A bright and personable lawyer in our Family law, Employment and Disputes teams, Katie moved to New Plymouth from her home town of Wellington to try life in a different city and to work in a law firm that aligns with her values. After studying at Victoria University she worked in the public sector at the Ministry for the Environment, gaining experience in legal work and Human Resources.
Katie enjoys working with people from all walks of life and is passionate about problem solving to help people through the different challenges and experiences that life brings. She has a strong interest in corporate and commercial law, employment and litigation.
Outside of work she enjoys running, tramping, playing indoor football, sewing, cooking, and spending time with her partner, friends and family. Being a Wellingtonian at heart she loves a good coffee, and she used to work as a barista so you’ll often find her practising latte art on her coffee machine at home. She enjoys exploring the arts, culture and eateries that New Plymouth has to offer.
